Welcome to Gomer Herefords, a pedigree herd of  Hereford cattle located near Llandeilo, at the western tip of the Brecon Beacons in Carmarthenshire.

At nearly 700 feet above sea level, some of the land on Onnen Fawr is classed as severely disadvantaged but this does not prevent this classic native breed from thriving solely on grass.  Although the herd is entirely pedigree, it is run on a commercial basis. Gomer Herefords are part of the Breedplan Performance scheme, details of which can be found on the Hereford Cattle Society webite.

Tim & Alice Amery are also members of Biobest Herdcare and are accredited with Elite status, the herd being free from BVD, IBR, Lepto and Johne's disease. The whole herd is vacinated for Blue Tongue.
